About

Picture this: you find yourself at Blockbuster talking to the employee (probably called a companion or a facilitator) about favorite movies. The first word out of their mouth is Glitter. You feel the bile rising up your throat, and you run away as fast as you can to your friend. Your friend who shares your obsession for Fight Club, or your unhealthy obsession with the Godfather. We are that friend. We are fellow ScreenHeads.

Who we are:

Editor: Keifer Albin

Born in Montana, Keifer has been obsessed with movies since an early age. His favorites include The Matrix, The Godfather, Fight Club, The Squid and the Whale, and About a Boy. He likes to write (duh!) and listen to music. (Pink Floyd, and Jimi are current favorites.)

Contributing Writer: Samuel D. Jennings

I’m from Chicago, where we don’t take kindly to full-of-themselves movie stars. I love movies, I know lots of otherwise useless movie trivia, and I get personally offended when a movie sucks (I’m looking at you, Jessica Alba). I look forward to sharing my highly opinionated views with you.
Some movie favorites: The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Godfather, Goodfellas, Star Wars, After Hours

Contributing Writer: Chris Beaubien

“Trash has given us an appetite for art”
-Pauline Kael, film critic

I am writing live from Hollywood North - Vancouver, British Columbia. Movies make up one out of four essential aspects of my life. Here I will elaborate on movies; old and current, near and far, to cultivate more open ground for fellow film maniacs.

Some of my favorite filmmakers include: Krzysztof Kieślowski, Paul Thomas Anderson, Patrice Leconte, Martin Scorsese, Peter Greenaway, Sofia Coppola, Guy Maddin, Stanley Kubrick, Nicole Holofcener, David Gordon Green, and I’d better stop now.
